Beverly Hills, 90210 could come back... again. The original cast, minus Shannen Doherty and Luke Perry, have teamed together with 90210 writers Mike Chessler and Chris Alberghini to shop the idea of reviving the series to multiple networks, according to Deadline. The rumors started circulating after TMZ snapped photos of the former teen idols grabbing coffee between their pitches.

Tori Spelling actually teased that a 90210 project could be in the works back in March when she posted that she and Jennie Garth were pitching a project to CBS. Now they've brought in fellow original cast members Brian Austin Green, Ian Ziering, Jason Priestley and Gabrielle Carteris into the mix. Garth, Spelling and Doherty already stepped back into their characters for the The CW's sequel series, 90210. Garth and Spelling also teamed up for the short-lived ABC Family comedy Mystery Girls, which saw them solve crimes together.

The original Beverly Hills, 90210 premiered in 1990 and turned its young actors into global superstars. The series ran for 10 years before ending in the spring of 2000. The series even launched two spin-offs, Melrose Place and the lesser known Models, Inc.

Since networks are so obsessed with nostalgia, it seems pretty likely that this revival could easily find a home. It remains to be seen whether Perry or Doherty will participate though. The former is currently busy playing Fred Andrews on The CW drama series Riverdale. Meanwhile, Doherty was written off of the series after four seasons because of alleged behind-the-scenes drama.
