Meet Sam Murray and Kijuan Amey: The Best Friends Who Make Advertising Affordable

Developing a business does not simply rely on a great idea.  Instead, it relies on a team built on trust, respect, and encouragement that can take an idea and turn it into a great one. This is what Sam Murray and Kijuan Amey have come together to do. Having been best friends since they were 5 years old, they trust each other like no other business partners. By knowing each other’s strengths and weaknesses, they know how to combine their skills to make the perfect team.

“As work partners our unique abilities are creativity, being able to build brands, rational thinking under pressure, public speaking, and community service. We both have musical talents and gifts to share with the world!” shared Sam Murray.

Sam Murray and Kijuan Amey had very different paths. Sam studied film production and direction. Soon after graduating, Sam launched his first label and production company with Blvck Universe and dropped his own music under the name Chad Ali. On the other hand, Kijuan joined the United States Air Force as an in-flight refueling specialist while pursuing his degree in Computer Information Systems. Now, they have come together and taken advantage of their relationship as best friends to combine their knowledge to run a mobile advertising and marketing services business. Additionally, they continue to grow and develop and are currently in the midst of starting their own music label and non-profit organization to serve minority males in their community.

Through their own experiences as business owners, Sam and Kijuan know how difficult it can be to find affordable advertising given platforms such as billboards, radio, and television are usually too expensive for any start-up or small to medium business. They relate to individuals that are struggling to find the funding necessary to develop their business. As a business team, Sam and Kijuan aim to help all types of businesses, especially those who need a little bit more of help and extra motivation when it comes to advertising.

“We aspire to create affordable and effective advertising for our clients, while increasing their brand prestige and generating more sales targeting their market demographic.” said Sam Murray.

As such, Sam and Kijuan work towards providing affordable opportunities to other entrepreneurs like themselves so that they can grow their businesses. They recognize that a positive mindset is crucial in running a business, especially when things don’t go as planned, and use this knowledge to motivate their clients. Both Sam and Kijuan have overcome several obstacles, especially ones with respect to their health. Sam has had diabetes type 1 since he was four. He broke his leg his senior year of high school while playing football and had to go through 13 surgeries to save his leg. Kijuan, on the other hand, was in a motorcycle accident after which he lost his sight. While these could have been deterring obstacles for other individuals, Sam and Kijuan have grown stronger and continue to spread their sense of gratitude by helping others through their work and motivating their clients to push through their own obstacles.

“Our advice to those trying to start their business is to never give up no matter what, to make your passion your paycheck, to understand that as long as you are still breathing there is opportunity, to not be afraid to ask for help, to do your research and solve problems, to always be kind and value great customer service, and finally, to treat your team and people helping you like gold, by always encouraging and rewarding  them.” Sam and Kijuan advises.

For Sam and Kijuan, fear is “false evidence appearing to be real”, it is just an illusion to distract people from maintaining their purpose and chasing their dreams. It is for this reason that they continue to develop their business despite any drawbacks. They compete with no one but themselves and plan on continuing to grow their brand and launching new projects. Their next projects include getting Ride Sync Pros and 10^ networks officially launched and operating by next year, as well as spreading their brand to all major cities by traveling and holding more entertainment events. To follow their journey as they become philanthropists and leaders in their community, or simply to get motivation as a fellow entrepreneur, make sure to follow Sam Murray and Kijuan Amey on social media.
