Stange Law Firm, PC Proud To Support Emory University School of Law's Moot Court Program

Stange Law Firm, PC established the Stange Law Firm, PC Award in 2016 to award excellency in moot court at Emory University School of Law.

Nov. 29, 2019 / PRZen / CLAYTON, Mo. -- Paola Arzu Stange and Kirk C. Stange of Stange Law Firm, PC are proud to have established the Stange Law Firm Award at Emory University School of Law back in 2016.  The Stange Law Firm Award honors top competitors in Emory Law's moot court program. The $4,000 annual scholarship is awarded starting this year to the highest overall performing student in the Emory Law's Moot Court Society 1L Competition.

In April of 2019, the latest winners of the Stange Law Firm, PC Award were announced. Previous winners of the Stange Law Firm Award were named in 2018 and prior years.  The Stange Law Firm Award is now an important part of the moot court program at Emory University School of Law.

Paola Stange was a member of the Moot Court Society while at Emory Law, and the experience gave her confidence as a practicing courtroom lawyer. In addition to building a thriving family law practice, she has been recognized for her guardian ad litem service on behalf of domestic violence victims. Recently, Paola Stange was honored to be named to the Alumni Board at Emory University School of Law.

Kirk Stange, who was a moot court finalist at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law and selected to The Order of the Barristers. Stange Law Firm, PC also sponsors the Board of Advocates at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law as part of their overall commitment to law school moot court.

The Stanges value excellence in writing and oration and their practice mirrors those values. Stange Law Firm was formed in 2007 in St. Louis, Missouri, and now includes offices throughout Missouri, Illinois, Kansas and Oklahoma. Their lawyers have been recognized with many honors and awards. The Stanges also serve as members of Emory Law's adjunct faculty, based on their experience in litigation skills.

Their gift provides $100,000 to endow the scholarship, and an additional $20,000, which will allow scholarships to be awarded immediately while the endowment builds.
