Eva Mayer, a young Russian poet who started her artistic path in early 2019, has released a new album of free verse poetry read with music in the background, titled “ME.” It is the third album by Eva Mayer and another significant achievement in her career, which has already attracted much attention to the work of the talented poet. First of all, “ME” contains 24 tracks, two times more than each of Mayer’s first two albums. Secondly, it is a philosophical album, addressing the themes of parents and children, honesty and betrayal, the good and the bad, which takes Eva Mayer’s free verse poetry to the next level and shows the depth of her talent from another angle.

Eva Mayer was born in Siberia. She graduated from the Altai State University, majoring in Accounting, Analysis, and Auditing. At the time, the girl did not think of becoming a poet, but life put everything in its place. Poetry came to Eva Mayer naturally, as a way to express her feelings and thoughts, liberate the soul, and speak out the truths of life, even those that people were not ready to hear. She simply could not ‘remain silent’ any longer, which gave birth to Mayer’s first album titled “No masks.” Soon after the release, the young poet introduced “The smartest,” her second album of free verse poetry, which almost immediately became a hit. Now, it is the turn of “ME,” Mayer’s third album that is rightfully considered the most powerful and meaningful to date.

“ME” is a philosophical album that tackles serious themes. Poems included in this series are based on Eva Mayer’s personal experiences and reflections. They are still written in the poet’s distinctive, bold style, but now they are much deeper, filled with passion and emotion. They give answers to many life questions and problems that people face every day. “ME” is also a story of an independent and self-sufficient woman achieving everything herself. It is about the parent-child relationship, love, devotion, and betrayal. It is something that will stay with you for years to come.

Eva Mayer has already had a series of public readings, and she continues to conquer the world of contemporary poetry with her remarkable works. Eva Mayer is, without a doubt, a rising star of contemporary Russian poetry, who is sure to succeed not only on the national but also on the international level.
